Children’s book author John Coxhead’s new book, Hello Dark aims to help parents with children that are scared of the dark. Based on a technique he developed to help his own children overcome their fears the book uses repetition and mild confrontation to enable children to develop ways to allay irrational fears. Our ad features families and children reacting to the message of the book in a positive way – all shot during the Covid lockdown
We overcame social distancing rules during filming by sending professional Go Pro cameras to families that appear in the ad and getting them to film themselves before sending back to our production team to comment and direct more shots
